Peter D. Salton is a member of:

the Injured Workers Bar Association of New York.
He is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts including the
New York State Supreme Court, the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, and the New York State Court of Appeals and has significant experience representing clients at administrative hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.

Peter D. Salton, Attorney at Law is located in Ithaca, New York, and serves clients throughout Central New York and the Finger Lakes Region. An active member of the Ithaca community, Attorney Salton has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Opportunities, Alternative and Resources (OAR), a non-profit agency advocating for the rights of the incarcerated in Tompkins County and was a member of the Board of Directors of Family and Children’s Services of Ithaca.
Salton holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He has had a longstanding and demonstrated interest in the delivery of legal services to underrepresented and disadvantaged individuals.
Salton was elected to the Village of Cayuga Heights Board of Trustees in 2013, and is now serving his second two year term, and is a member of the Public Safety Committee. Attorney Salton is also on the Board of Directors of the Greater Tompkins County Municipal Health Insurance Consortium and serves on the Audit and Finance Committee.
He has been active with the Ithaca Youth Bureau and its Kiwanis Baseball program as a coach, and the Greek Peak Ski Club. He is a member of the New York State Ski Racing Association (NYSSRA), the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), and is certified as a technical delegate and state official for Alpine Ski Racing.
